Is the water at the home drinkable?

Yes, the water at Villa la Roca is drinkable. Pedregal is one of the few communities throughout all of Baja California Sur that has its own desalination plant. Rather than depending on the municipal water distribution system, the ongoing water supply service of Pedregal´s desalinization plant is a testament to the level of commitment and exclusivity guests can enjoy during their stay. In addition, bottled water is also readily available throughout Cabo San Lucas.

The neighborhood is gated and all ins and outs of the subdivision are seen by the guards at the entrance. In addition, Pedregal is patrolled by security 24 hours a day. Should I rent a car?

Renting a car mainly depends on what you are wanting to do while in Cabo. While cabs are easily available, some guests who want to travel to downtown San Jose del Cabo or explore areas outside of downtown Cabo San Lucas may find it beneficial to rent a car. Some guests simply take cabs everywhere, some hire private drivers for the duration of their stay and others rent a car! There is no right or wrong decision. Our Rental Manager, Yadira, can assist you with any of your transportation needs.

Should you choose to rent a car, our concierge can arrange for your rental car to be delivered directly to the villa so you and your guests spend more time relaxing and less time waiting.

Is Villa La Roca safe for children?

The Villa overlooks a cliff and has several areas with windy, steep stairs. If you have young children, you must have a nanny or other adult watching them at all times. There are also potentially dangerous areas near several of the balconies where a child could step up and lean over, which is highly unsafe if a child is not being watched. We do welcome children, however, an accompanying nanny or other supervising adult should always be present.

Does Villa La Roca have a listing on VRBO and/or Airbnb?

Yes, we do have several guests who have found us through VRBO and Airbnb. We ask that all guests please verify that the listing they are booking under is actually Villa La Roca. In the past, we have had "imposter" listings posing as us when in fact, it was not us.
